The Easy Way to Clean Your Jewelry Safely at Home
jewelry cleaning solution for gold silver and stone jewelry is a mixture of a few drops of dish detergent in warm, not hot, soapy water.
Simply place the piece in a glass bowl with the soapy water. Let the piece sit for 5 minutes, longer if it's very dirty, then take it out and holding over the bowl, gently scrub with a new, soft bristled toothbrush. dip a few times to remove any grime you wipe away. Then when you are happy, rinse by placing the item in a new container of lukewarm water.
Make sure the water isn't too hot or too cold, as some gemstones do not take well to drastic changes in temperature.
Don't take a shortcut and do it over the sink. if you drop it, you could lose your ring!
Dry with a regular cloth, but be careful not to snag the prongs if its a prong set design! Store in a closed container (jewelry box, plastic bag,) whatever, we dont judge.. this will deter tarnish
