The arrangement of its facets is similar to that of a round brilliant, designed to maximize light and color. The stone is set in a sterling silver prong setting which has an attractive open design and holds the garnet perfectly in its four prongs that create plenty of contact points for added security.
The post and back nuts are also sterling silver.
