Darshan Palo Santo Incense Sticks 20 Sticks · Handcrafted in India · Purification, Upliftment and Sacred New Beginnings
There is a moment, just after you light it, when the smoke rises, and the scent reaches you for the first time.
And you exhale.
Not because you decided to. Because your body decided for you. Because something in the limbic system, the oldest part of the brain, the part that has been recognizing sacred smoke since before language existed, recognized this scent and responded with the only appropriate answer.
Release.
Palo Santo, the Holy Wood of South America, has been used in sacred ceremony by indigenous Andean and Amazonian peoples for centuries. Its scent is unlike anything else in the incense world: bright, warm, slightly citrusy, with a sweet woodsmoke quality that is simultaneously grounding and uplifting, clearing and comforting.
It does not smell like cleansing. It smells like what comes after cleansing. Like the first breath of a room that has been opened to fresh air. Like the moment after the storm when everything is clean and still and full of possibility.
This is what a new beginning smells like.
The Transformation
For the one who is ready to begin again.
Every spiritual practice has moments of clearing and moments of beginning. Palo Santo lives at the intersection of both. It clears what needs to go and simultaneously invites in what is ready to arrive.
Where Dragon Blood clears with power and authority, Palo Santo clears with warmth and welcome. It does not command the old energy to leave. It simply raises the vibration of the space so high that what is heavy and stagnant cannot remain.
It is the incense for new beginnings. For the morning ritual that sets the tone for the entire day. For the meditation that follows a difficult period and marks the turning of a corner. For the healing session that is about opening rather than releasing. For any moment when you are not just clearing the old but actively calling in the new.

About Palo Santo
Palo Santo, Bursera graveolens, is a wild tree native to the tropical dry forests of Ecuador, Peru, and other parts of South America. Its Spanish name means Holy Wood, and it has been used in sacred ceremonies by indigenous Andean and Amazonian peoples for centuries, burned to clear negative energy, attract positive forces, and prepare sacred space for ceremony and healing.
The resin that produces Palo Santo's distinctive scent, rich in limonene and other aromatic compounds, develops only in the heartwood of naturally fallen trees. Ethical Palo Santo is never harvested from living trees. The wood must fall naturally and rest on the forest floor for a minimum of four to ten years before the resin fully develops and the wood is ready for use.
This wood has already undergone its transformation before it is ever burned. It has fallen, rested, and been transformed by time into something more potent than it was when it was living. There is a teaching in that for anyone who has ever been through a period of falling before rising.
Metaphysical Properties
Key Energies: Purification, upliftment, the attraction of positive energy, new beginnings, the clearing of negative and stagnant energy, creativity, joy, the deepening of spiritual connection, and the creation of sacred space
Chakra Alignment: Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) for the activation of personal power and creative will. Heart Chakra (Anahata) for the opening to joy, connection, and the warmth of genuine spiritual presence. Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) for the deepening of spiritual connection and the reception of higher guidance
Elemental Association: Wood and Fire (the living, growing energy of the natural world combined with the transformative power of flame)
Physical Support: In traditional Andean practice, Palo Santo is associated with supporting the immune system, relieving physical tension, and clearing energetic conditions that contribute to physical depletion. As an aromatic, it has a high limonene content that has been studied for its mood-elevating properties.
Emotional Support: Palo Santo supports the release of anxiety, the lifting of low mood, and the cultivation of genuine joy and optimism that come not from the absence of difficulty but from the conscious choice to orient toward light. It is particularly supportive for those emerging from difficult periods who are ready to call in something new.
Spiritual Growth: Palo Santo is one of the most universally beloved tools in the spiritual practitioner's toolkit for good reason. It clears, uplifts, opens, and invites. Use it to begin any practice, to mark any new beginning, and to create the energetic conditions for the best possible version of whatever comes next.

How to Work With It
Light the tip of one stick and allow it to flame for five to ten seconds. Gently blow out the flame and allow the ember to establish itself. Place in a suitable incense holder on a heat-safe surface.
For morning ritual, light your Palo Santo stick before anything else. Before your phone. Before your coffee. Before the day has had a chance to make any claims on you, breathe the scent in slowly. Set one clear intention for the day. Let the smoke carry it upward.
For space clearing that calls in the new, move through your space with the burning stick after any significant transition: a move, a breakup, a new job, a new season of life. As you move, speak aloud what you are inviting in. The wood has been waiting years for this moment. It knows what to do.
Never leave burning incense unattended. Ensure adequate ventilation. Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
Care Instructions
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original packaging or an airtight container to preserve the scent integrity of unused sticks.
