Crocheted necklace, fire agate gemstones with fresh water rice pearls

This beautiful necklace was designed using the Bulgarian Crochet method. High quality small fresh water rice pearls, seed beads, brown fire agate of different shapes and sizes were strung on high strength cord, then carefully crocheted. Then a stainless steel (for strength) wire is permanently embedded in the crochet. Next a single strand of the same stones are added on the wire, and formed into one continuous loop for a total of approximately 23.25 inch. The thickness varies. The general diameter is 1/2", but the spirals stick out to make it larger at the bottom point. This is one of our favorite pieces!
