7 Chakra Gemstone Mala Necklace, necklace
This Mala necklace was hand knotted by Stacy using 108 genuine gemstones, in a combination of the 7 chakras ( Amethyst, Lapis Lazuli, Sodalite, Green Aventurine, Yellow Jade, Golden Tiger Eye, & Red Jasper. What an amazing combination to help with align your chakras! This would make excellent Meditation necklace, enhancing your experience connecting to yourself. This mala necklace would make a wonderful gift for yoga enthusiasts, or just someone who appreciates current style!
The necklace measures 36 inches long, not including the Guru bead , which adds another 2 inches. The gemstones measure from 6-8mm. The knotting cord is a size 8 white silk cord. This would look good on a man or a woman.
►Mala Who?
A Mala is a hand knotted necklace consisting of 108 beads which is traditionally used for keeping track of mantras during meditation. Many traditional malas feature a "Guru Bead" which is added at the bottom to help you keep your place, create intention, and remind you why you are meditating. It represents the teacher. There is also a Tassel on traditional Mala necklaces hanging below the Guru Bead.
Recently, Malas have become extremely popular as they are a great style piece that can be worn by anyone! The term "Mala" comes from the Sanscrit translation meaning Meditation Garland. Malas from Hidden Jewel of the south end are authentically made using only the finest gemstones, hand knotted on nylon thread, often with a silk tassel added.
